Our Chaplain this year is a Texas native, Kira Schlesinger, who just graduated from Vanderbilt Divinity School and is being ordained to the transitional deaconate on Saturday in Texas. Kira has prepared the chapel program for us this summer based upon the church as a living unit made up of people (community, congregants), as opposed to the "church" being simply a building or an organization. We've been studying the past, present, and future of the church. Here are a few of the results from Camp One's experience with the chapel program:
