Camp 3: Tuesday!

2 full days of camp are officially in the books! Tuesday was a wonderful day of being outside (and then coming in when it got a little rainy!) but no matter where we were we having the time of our lives!
Cabin Clean-Up was exciting as always, this time Cabin 1 took home the Golden Dustpan! Moms- don't let these boys fool you, they can clean and clean well!

We had chapel where we learned about laying down our nets- those things that keep us from God. A couple of the campers- Ella P and Matthew- read during morning devotion! Our counselors did a funny skit where they followed Jesus and made a "love train" (we thought it was clever). Finally while we were in small groups we made fish and on the back wrote those things that keep us from God. We came back and put them in a net to show that we were going to lay those things down and let God in!

After chapel we had a nice long lunch and siesta before we left for our afternoon activity- going to Lake Cheston! We swam, threw a frisbee, built sand castles and soaked up the sunshine as much as we could!

Unfortunately the rain meant we had to leave the lake early, so we came back to campus to do arts and crafts, play soccer and play some rockin indoor games. Fortunately we showered during the storm so afterwards it was blue skies for a bit!

We had a wonderful dinner of lasagna and corn, we had MOVIE NIGHT! With Emperor's New Groove and the best part- movie popcorn! Thanks to Greg Champion (Vena's husband) for bringing us wonderfully fresh movie popcorn to us!

Everyone was so tired that believe it or not- every light was out and every head was on a pillow at 9:20! We got a good night of sleep and we were ready to go this morning!
