Camp Three: Part One.

Camp Three is here! We're so excited to have our rising 4th -6th graders here. It is a huge group this year and the kids are so fun - everything is exciting and new. Sunday started off with registration (rain free! finally!) and then settling into cabins. After that we had the swim test:

Once everyone completed their swim across the pool, we had a free swim:

After swimming we changed for dinner - spaghetti! Then it was time for our opening service in the chapel:

Four of the counselors gave a talk about faith and works - faith is like the roots of a really big tree and works are the leaves on the branches. You need both to grow big as a tree!

After our service the staff did introductions:

And then we learned about the covenant (rules) for camp:

After the covenant the campers learned about their family groups and then went off to do name games in family groups before having snack and going to the cabins! It was a great first night of camp.
