Camp Three, Day Four.

Wednesday of Camp Three was so much fun! It was certainly a long day - everyone slept well at night!

We started the morning with chapel and family groups like normal. We focused on listening for God's message through nature and so the family groups went on nature walks.

After family group Cameron announced that day's golden dustpan winner:

And we sang songs in the chapel:

Then it was free time. Four square was popular over in the pavilion:

And as temperatures climb, the pool is a very popular option:

During lunch we do our "MAIL CALL" where the kids get their letters/packages/emails from parents:

After lunch and a siesta we went over to Sewanee for a day trip. First we hiked Morgan's Steep to the Cross:

Then we went to the bookstore to cool down, let the kids buy souvenirs, and get some snacks:

Then it was time for a picnic at Abbo's Alley:

Before our chapel service at Sewanee's All Saints Chapel:

And then, like that, another day at Camp Gailor-Maxon came to pass. Full days make for full nights of sleep around here! More tomorrow.
