Camp Two, Day Four.

Wednesday at Camp Two was full of adventure. We mixed things up this year for this day - throwing out the typical schedule of chapel and family groups in the morning and activities in the afternoon. After breakfast and cabin cleanup we sang some songs and had our morning devotion before loading the buses and heading over to Sewanee for a day trip.

Our first stop was to hike Morgan's Steep to the Cross as a group. Our chapel program for that day was about hearing God in nature and so the hike incorporated those themes.

The hike ends at an overlook with the Sewanee War Memorial Cross. We enjoyed the view, talked in family groups, and then had a picnic.

After lunch we split into two groups - the first group went into Sewanee to play and the second group swam at the Res on St. Andrew's Sewanee campus. After a bit they switched so everyone did both.

After naps and showers back on campus all around, we went back over to Sewanee for our Eucharist. All Saint's Chapel is the chapel for the University of the South and they generously let us use it on Wednesday nights during camp. The kids love being in the sacred space.

We then went back to camp and the kids did a quiet labyrinth before going to bed. Wednesday at camp was a great day!
