Camp Two, Day Two.

Monday of Camp Two was great! We did our first day of chapel program in the morning, about the difference between hearing and listening. The kids sang songs, did a morning devotion, and broke into family groups.

The afternoon was very high energy. We had three groups - a rock climbing group, a water hike group, and an on campus (sports and games and arts and crafts) group. All three had fun and were very active and fun.

A group hiked Foster Falls and swam in the hole:

Another group rock climbed - the South Cumberland State Park does a great job of providing instruction and facilitating our climbing and rappelling.

A group stayed on campus and did arts and crafts while another group was on campus playing soccer.

After some free time and dinner it was time for the Cabin Olympics. Each cabin had a "uniform" they created out of clothing they had already. The first objective was they had to come up with a cabin cheer.

Next they had representatives come forward for counselor trivia:

Then it was time for Bible Trivia:

The next event was "Name that Tune" where the counselors play a song and the teams have to tell artist and song title.

Then it was time for synchronized swimming!

And finally it was time for a huge game of capture the flag. Here are the kids gathered getting instructions:

And then it was time for snack and compline before going to bed, resting up for another busy day! Until next time...
