Tuesday of Camp Three brought even more fun! We started the day with chapel program where we learned about listening for God's message through scripture. A lot of times the counselors make up silly skits to introduce the idea. Here are Mary Blythe and Jillian -
An ongoing project during the week has been creating an art version of an American flag. The family groups have been rotating through the art barn to put their handprints on it:
The flag will be complete on Thursday and we'll take it to decorate the Sherwood Community Center down the Mountain as part of our community service.
The afternoon was full of adventure. The campers had three choices - go to the rappel site, go on a hike in the Fiery Gizzard, or swim at Tracy Lakes. Most of the campers went to Tracy Lakes but we had a good size group at both others too.

That night was the counselor hunt. This is where the counselors hide and the family groups have to walk the grounds "hunting" the counselors. Here are the counselors about to hide:
The family groups wrote "charges" that were the crimes that the counselors committed. Then we hunted in groups. The Silver Snakes were very excited to go -
And they found two counselors! They found Andrew first and then Grace:
Another group found Jillian and Mary Blythe -
Once all the counselors were found, we read the charges to them and the groups that found them got to push them into the pool:
After counselor hunt we had compline and snack before heading back to go to bed. Another fun day on the Mountain!
